Food Pantry - Christmas Market
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our client Christmas Market, taking place on December 11, 2020 will be completely different. Volunteers will place food bags in the client vehicle as they drive into the traffic circle. No client will enter our building.
Our clients are so disappointed they will not choose from your donated items or receive the homemade goodies you have provided for them in the past. Most of all they will miss chatting with volunteers and the atmosphere of love and acceptance St. Olaf offers each of them. Although we will not have special one on one time with them, nor will they choose items, we will provide much needed food items funded by the Pantry/Outreach offerings. We will continue to show the face of Jesus in us, as we see the face of Jesus in them, even if it is from behind a mask.
Please note, if you attend daily mass, the market will start at 10:30. Our clients have assigned times to keep the line at a minimum. We ask you park in the lot away from the pantry and parish hall area. This should help you with exiting and keep the lane clear for incoming pantry clients. My apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you.
