About the Food Pantry
Mission
The St. Olaf Food Pantry will provide an emergency food supply once every 30 days to any person or family in need of food, no qualifying.
The St. Olaf Food Pantry fulfills its mission by providing food for our friends and neighbors in need while treating them with dignity and respect during their time of need.
Operations and Funding
At St. Olaf Food Pantry, we have over 2,000 families that we assist periodically or monthly.
It is our goal to continually take positive action to meet the current and future demands of hunger in our area.
The St. Olaf Food Pantry is operated in accordance with standards set by the St. Olaf Food Pantry Committee. Staffing is provided by a team of volunteers; we have no paid employees. Operations are funded by donations from parishioners of St. Olaf Catholic Church, and supplemented by donations from local churches, individuals, and organizations. We operate 100% through volunteer efforts and donor support.
Food Donations are accepted at the pantry Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. After hours donations may be left at the back of the Parish Hall by the inside pantry door marked Food Pantry. View our list of most needed items here.
