Ministry Spotlight

Our ministries are always finding ways to grow in faith, serve others, and build community. Enjoy these snapshots of recent activities and the wonderful moments shared by our parish family. We’re grateful to all who make these ministries such a meaningful part of parish life!

Knitting Ministry

Retired Navy Vet, Dianne Lee (center) created 16 beautiful lap blankets, wheelchair blankets and afghans that were donated to the Veterans Hospital in Newport News from St Olaf's Knitting Ministry. Warren, also a Navy vet, was the happy recipient of one. Thanks to Knights of Columbus Paul Zimmerman for the contact and ride down. They were graciously received with our promise of more to come.

Food Pantry

What a generous community! The Kiwanis Club of Toano held a food drive on Saturday benefiting St. Olaf Food Pantry and collected almost

1,200 pounds of food! Thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Toano for organizing the drive, everyone in our community who donated,

and our church members for their continued support. Your generosity helps keep our shelves stocked and feeds local individuals and families.

Pictured with some of the donations are Donna Hamilton (Director) and Lisa Bishop (Asst. Director) of St. Olaf Food Pantry.

Thank you for helping us care for our neighbors!
