• Pastoral Council New Member Search

The St. Olaf Pastoral Council is seeking four new members to replace current members ending their three-year term. The council acts as an advisory body to the pastor on pastoral issues and meets at 7 PM on the 3rd Thursday of each month, August through June. We seek parishioners who are active in our parish life, committed to attending our meetings and able to serve a three-year term. It is beneficial to have a variety of backgrounds and ages on the council to consider subjects from multiple perspectives.

  • How to Apply

Candidates aged 18 or older should submit a letter of interest by email to pastoralcouncil@stolaf.cc or drop a letter off at the office no later than Wednesday, May 14. The letter should include a personal introduction and any experience or skills that might benefit the council.

  • Discernment of Interest

A discernment of interested candidates will be held on Thursday, May 22, at 7 PM.

Please prayerfully consider this worthwhile contribution to your parish.

The message of The Divine Mercy is simple. It is that God loves us – all of us. And, He wants us to recognize that His mercy is greater than our sins, so that we will call upon Him with trust, receive His mercy, and let it flow through us to others. Thus, all will come to share His joy.

Divine Mercy Sunday Prayer Service: April 27th at 3:00 pm

Jesus told Saint Faustina that many graces would be given to those who observe Divine Mercy Sunday.

[Jesus said,] I am offering people a vessel with which they are to keep coming for graces to the fountain of mercy. That vessel is this image with the signature: “Jesus, I trust in You”

(Diary, 327).

OUR ANNUAL THEME FOR THE LITURGICAL YEAR 2024- 25 Sanctuary, our annual theme for 2024-25, symbolizes the refuge that teens find in Christ. It transcends from the sacred altars of our Parish into the secular aspects of their daily lives, bringing peace amidst chaos, order amidst disorder, and love amid fear. Sanctuary is a beacon of Divine Shelter, offering us refuge in times of trial. It celebrates the sanctity of our Inner Sanctuary, turning the ordinary into Sacred Space and inspiring hope and transformation.
